What is a Preventative Care Panel?
A preventative care panel is a comprehensive diagnostic wellness screening designed to detect early-stage disease—often before symptoms appear. It also helps establish a baseline for your pet’s health, allowing for better long-term care and monitoring.
What is Included?
Canine Preventative Panel
Chem 27: Evaluates organ function (liver, kidneys, pancreas), protein, and glucose levels
CBC (Complete Blood Count): Assesses red/white blood cells, platelets, anemia, infection, inflammation, and more
Thyroid Test: Screens for hypothyroidism
Fecal Test: Detects intestinal parasites
4DX Test: Screens for heartworm disease, Lyme disease, anaplasmosis, and ehrlichiosis
Urinalysis: Evaluates kidney health and screens for infection (includes physical, chemical, and sediment analysis)
Cardio BNP Test: Detects heart disease by measuring cardiac stress markers
Feline Preventative Panel
Chem 27: Evaluates organ function (liver, kidneys, pancreas), protein, and glucose levels

Thyroid Test: Screens for hyperthyroidism
Fecal Test: Detects intestinal parasites
FeLV/FIV Test: Screens for feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus
Urinalysis: Evaluates kidney health and screens for infection (includes physical, chemical, and sediment analysis)
Cardio BNP Test: Detects heart disease such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)
